When you schedule a pickup or look up an existing appointment, we collect the information you give us: your name, mobile phone number, email address, home or pickup address, vehicle details, and what you'd like done. We also collect basic technical information, like your device and browser type, to keep the site secure and working well.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and complete your service: to pick up and return your car, to confirm details and pricing, to verify your identity when you look up an existing appointment, and to keep you updated about your service. We also use it to operate, secure, and improve our site.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you give us your mobile number — when you book a pickup or look up an existing appointment — you agree to receive service-related text messages from Handled. These include a one-time verification code and confirmations or updates about your pickup and service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information is never shared with anyone for marketing purposes.
How we share information
We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, to manage service records, send text messages, and process your visit — and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide service, keep accurate business and service records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
